Agnieszka Oosthuizen, B.Ch.D, graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2002. After qualifying, she worked in private practice in South Africa until 2009, when she moved to England. Agnieszka enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and after completing her qualifications in botox and dermal fillers in Harley Street, London, she also offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments in wrinkle reduction and smile augmentation.

Saran qualified from the University of Liverpool. She has also attained a diploma in Primary Dental Care from the University of Kent. Her interest in restorative dentistry led to embarking on a Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course with the renowned Dr Christopher Orr enhancing her skills.
Saran holds advanced skills in facial aesthetics including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. She has a caring and gentle approach to all of her patients and remains committed to continued professional development.

Dr Laura Hunter joined Walker & Associates Dental and Implant Clinic in 2013 after practicing for several years in Newbury. She is an enthusiastic and skilled practitioner who enjoys making people feel at ease when they visit. Laura says of working in the practice “I love treating all members of the community and enabling people to smile with confidence. I am also studying for a masters degree in medical law and ethics in order to stay up to date with current and relevant issues."

Dr Konstantinos Loukas qualified as a dentist in 2000 and then embarked upon a two-year residency at the Dental School of Athens as a clinical instructor supervising students in the
prosthetic department. At the same time, he served in the Airforce military hospital of Athens performing general and prosthetic dentistry.
Between 2008 and 2012 he completed a postgraduate training course in Bristol and Bath leading to an MSc in Dental Implantology. His specialist area of research during this study was on implant complications. Between 2017-2018, he completed an implant residency at the University of Bern working with Professor Daniel Buser and Professor Thomas von Arx. He also completed the well known advanced Bern master classes in GBR, Sinus Lift, and Implant complications.
In 2018, he continued his studies to undertake a PhD in Prosthodontics and is currently engaged in postgraduate research for Implant Prosthodontics at the University College London, Eastman Dental Institute. In 2019 he completed the Regenerator program with Professor Urban for complex vertical augmentation procedures.
The last 12 years in the UK, he has placed and restored over 3000 Straumann implants, with a practically perfect integration success rate. His target is to build large bone volumes around his implants and to make sure that implants have lasting durability. He has
an extensive experience with complex cases and sees and treats a high volume of implant complications on a regular basis.
He is an official Straumann UK mentor, where he trains and mentors other dentists. He is an ITI registered speaker and a director of the ITI study Club for Bournemouth & Poole. He is principal in two private offices with focus on implant dentistry, and bone regeneration.

Dr Bahvya Mohan began her career as a general practitioner in 2005 and developed a keen interest in Periodontology. This led her to pursue speciality training in periodontology at Sheffield University and she was awarded MClinDent in Periodontology. Along with this Bhavya also completed advanced restorative training simultaneously, which gave her well rounded knowledge in planning and treatment of complex multi-faceted patients needing treatment of teeth wear, occlusal problems and Implant dentistry. Whilst training, she continued to work in general outreach clinics providing minor oral surgery care to trauma patients and was a clinical tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Sheffield and Bristol University. In 2012, post completion of her training she entered the General Dental Council’s Specialist register as a Periodontist.
Bhavya currently provides private care for patients with complex Periodontal needs in Swindon, Bristol and Oxford areas. She regularly lectures on various aspects of Periodontal research and treatment and, along with non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy. She has also undertake laser treatment for periodontal problems.
Bhavya has undertaken extensive research related to a novel diode laser for the treatment of periodontal disease in immunocompromised patients. With over 13 years’ experience in dental practice and secondary care she has been fortunate enough to amass a wealth of knowledge for a holistic person-centred approach to treatment for her patients.
Bhavya is a member of the British Society of Periodontology, International team for Implantology and European Federation of Periodontology and regularly attend seminars and conventions to upkeep with new evidence-based techniques.
Specialist in Restorative Dentistry

Ravi is a GDC registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Ravi qualified in 2009 and completed vocational training in Leicester. Following this, he undertook Senior House Officer posts in Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in several teaching hospitals in Birmingham, Leeds and London. During this time, he gained his membership of the Royal Colleges of England and Edinburgh.
He then undertook a further five years of accredited specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at King’s College Hospital that included rotations at the William Harvey Hospital, Royal London Dental Hospital, Eastman Dental Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital. He also completed a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute that was awarded with Distinction in 2015.
He passed the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship Examination in Restorative Dentistry in 2017 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Ravi has been appointed as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is responsible for providing specialist level restorative dental services for patients following surgery for head and neck cancer, patients with developmental dental conditions and patients who have suffered dental trauma. He currently sits on the board of Dental Trauma UK, examines for the Overseas Registration Exam and is a visiting lecturer at King’s College Dental Institute.
Ravi welcomes the referral of patients that require endodontic and advanced restorative dental care including the placement and restoration of dental implants.

Dr Amira Al-Ahmar is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist. She graduated from Bristol University (BDS) in 2003, and successfully gained a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2012.
Since 2003, she carried out a number of training posts in hospital Restorative and Maxillofacial Surgery Units around the UK. During this time she was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery. After 3 years in general dental practice, she commenced specialist training in prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital, where she carried out extensive full mouth rehabilitations on teeth and implants.
Amira gained the Membership in Restorative Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons of England, in 2014. This led to her being placed on the GDC Specialist List in Prosthodontics.
Throughout her career, Amira presented her research in both UK and international conferences. Previously, she taught undergraduate students at Bristol Dental School, and now continues to teach post-graduate dentists at the Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital. She is a clinical trainer in the field of prosthodontics, as part of the Oxford Deanery.
Amira provides a full range of prosthodontics treatment including fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics. She takes great interest in her patients, adopting a holistic approach in the provision of care and restoration of smiles, function and comfort.
Stephanie is committed to managing the practice’s standards of patient care, health and safety, and clinical excellence, and supporting all team members. She has a wealth of management experience and is keen to collaborate with and support other local businesses. In 2020 Stephanie completed a Diploma in HRM and is an Associate member of the CIPD.
In her spare time Stephanie enjoys exploring the Cotswold countryside with her husband and spaniel, endeavouring to research the local public houses at the end of a long walk

Suzanne Masters has been at the practice since qualifying in 2001. Suzanne is a dedicated hygienist who has great rapport with the patients and we see wonderful results with her patients oral health.
Suzanne interest are swimming, seeing friends and reading. She has two children who take up most of her spare time with their interests.

Carrie Jackson started her career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse in 1985, she then went on to train as a Dental Hygienist at King College London and qualified in 1989. She worked at a number of practice to gain a wide range of experience before settling at Gloucester House Dental Practice in 1994.
Carrie has twin boys Thomas and Luke who are now teenagers and keep her busy but she does find time to keep fit by running 3 times per week.

After spending far too much time commuting, Alex decided to work at a local dental practice and joined Walker and Assocaites in January 2019.
In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends. Living in such beautiful countryside, she loves going for long walks with her dog whatever the weather.

Caitlin has been a dental nurse since 2016, qualifying in 2018, before joining Caitlin worked as a locum nurse through out the south west and settled with us in December 2019. Lauren joined Walker & Associates in July 2019 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and Receptionist. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, doing outside activities and watching movies.

Leann is a qualified Dental Nurse. I qualified at Guys Dental Hospital in 1996. You will mainly see her working on Reception now.She has been working at Walker and Associates since August 2003. Prior to that Leann use to work for a Private Dental Practice in London. She moved from London to Faringdon in 1999.
Lenn is the youngest of 7 children. She is married and has one son. She has a love for animals, of which she has 2 rescue cats, 2 rabbits and fish. Leann also enjoys reading a good psychological book, which she has been known to just sit and read all day.

Jasmine has been a dental nurse since 2014 and has nursed all over the country due to her partner's career in the military. Jasmine enjoys being creative and spending time with her family including their house rabbit called Alan.
Laura has worked at Walker & Associates for over 17 years.
As Head Receptionist Laura ensures the smooth running of day to day clinics and welcomes patients into the practice.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with my family & visiting new places.
Julian (aka Lala to friends family and work colleagues) has been with the Faringdon practice for nearly 17 years.
Juliann's job is varied most days but front of house is probably the best place to be.
In a former life Juliann spent 12 years teaching equine pursuits to both young and old, and this was truly the very best time of my life.
I have been married to Mark for 16 years and we are lucky enough to live in the beautiful Cotswolds.
