Agnieszka Oosthuizen, B.Ch.D, graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2002. After qualifying, she worked in private practice in South Africa until 2009, when she moved to England. Agnieszka enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and after completing her qualifications in botox and dermal fillers in Harley Street, London, she also offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments in wrinkle reduction and smile augmentation.

Laura qualified in 2010 and has lived and worked in the area for many years. Laura enjoys providing comprehensive and high quality treatments whilst putting patients at ease with her friendly and professional manner. In 2015, Laura obtained her masters degree from Cardiff University and in 2021 was invited to join the Royal College of Physician’s Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine. In her spare time, Laura can be found reading and walking her dogs with her young family.

In order to improve his skills, Pedro has attended a wide range of courses and always aims to meet the patient's expectations, achieving simultaneously a functional and aesthetically pleasing result.
Pedro has a friendly and relaxed approach, taking time to listen to the patient and thoroughly explain the dental treatment.

Dragi graduated in Germany, Bavaria, from the University of Erlangen in 2003 and moved to England in 2004.
Following his mantra Vorsprung durch Technik Dragi keeps abreast with the latest advances in dentistry. He strongly believes in a holistic approach and treats all of his patients with genuine empathy, passion and enthusiasm.
Outside of dentistry Dragi enjoys keeping fit by running. He is a very keen traveller and loves exploring new cultures and cuisines around the globe.

Vinay is an experienced, dedicated dentist with over 20 years in the profession. He has an active interest in dental implants. In 2014, Vinay was awarded the FGDP Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed his MSc in Implantology in 2020.
He has been involved in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants since 2006. In this time, he has successfully placed over 1,000 dental implants using implant systems including Astra, Nobel Biocare and BioHorizons.
Vinay takes referrals from practitioners for all aspects of implant dentistry, with treatments ranging from single implants to full arch restorations. He is experienced in all forms of oral surgery relating to implantology including sinus lifts, block bone grafting, soft tissue surgery and guided bone regeneration. He is also an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

Mafalda graduated in Portugal in 2014, and was invited to join the Periodontology department of the university right after. This opportunity led her to start her journey working exclusively in periodontology since then. She did a Post-Graduate Residency program in Periodontology and later on Medicine and Oral Pathology.
Mafalda says that “being a dentist gave me the opportunity to understand how we can make a big difference in people’s lives by taking care of their smile, especially with their gums.” and her aim is to help patients to improve their self-confidence, involving them in the decision making process at every stage of their treatment.
Outside the clinical environment, Mafalda really enjoys arts and crafts, photography and traveling.

Jassar has over 16 years of private dental practice experience, during which he has mentored and coached in VT-equivalent dentist programs. Jassar has extensive experience in complex root canal treatments, prosthodontics, and digital scanning for crowns and bridges. During his years practicing dentistry he has insisted on continued academic development. He has been a lecturer in dentistry and head of department for a Dental Nursing Academy in the Netherlands. Jassar has limited his practice to Endodontics.
Jassar qualified from Radboud University Nijmegen (The Netherlands) in 2003. Between 2004 and 2015 he was the co-owner and Managing Director of 8 private dental practices. He has also served as a Management consultant for dental practice start-ups.
Jassar has been a strong advocate for high ethical standards in dentistry. Because the dental profession holds a special position of trust within society, it is our duty to examine, inform, recommend and treat patients with utmost integrirty.
Jassar is married and has two children (boy of 14 and girl of 12). A keen Real Madrid fan since childhood, he travels with his son to Madrid regularly to support his team. Hala Madrid!

She has a special interest in Endodontics and is currently completing a Master’s degree at the University of Chester. Uzma has a very optimistic demeanour and is always friendly towards to her patients, making her a perfect fit for all. She enjoys baking, painting, and spending time with her family.

Emma’s career in dentistry started in 2001 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire as a trainee dental nurse. Over the years she has expanded her knowledge and experience, working as a Head Dental Nurse, then progression to dental practice management in 2014. Emma holds a degree in Language and Communication enabling great team building skills and service to patients and colleagues alike, and is experienced in all aspects of people management and business development. Now as CQC Registered Manager at Walker and Associates she enjoys supporting this exceptional team. In her spare time Emma enjoys live music events and spending time with her two daughters and pets.

Suzanne's Masters has been at the practice since qualifying in 2001. Suzanne is a dedicated hygienist who has great rapport with the patients and we see wonderful results with her patients oral health.

Naho was born and grew up in Japan and after graduating as a dental hygienist from Ogaki Women's College she worked for six years in general and specialist clinics in Japan.
Following completion of an adaptation course at the University of Essex she gained registration with the General Dental Council. She joined Walker & Associates in October 2021. She has a lot of experience treating nervous and advanced gum disease patients. Her passion is helping patients prevent gum disease and making sure they have confident smiles.
Outside work, she is busy with her children and enjoys exploring the English countryside with her dog.

Luke grew up in Swindon and graduated from the University of Essex with Distinction.
He believes in a holistic preventative approach to dentistry, by implementing gradual behaviour adaptations in aspects such as brushing, diet, and exercise.
Luke ensures the best outcomes for each and every patient, utilising the British Society of Periodontology’s guidelines when treating patients with gum problems.
In his free time he enjoys cycling, attending live music events, and attempting - but badly - to play the guitar!

Leann qualified as a Dental Nurse at Guys Dental Hospital in 1996. You will mainly see her now within her role as our Treatment Coordinator, guiding our patients through their treatment. She has been working at Walker and Associates since August 2003. Prior to that Leann used to work for a Private Dental Practice in London. She moved from London to Faringdon in 1999.
Leann is the youngest of 7 children, is married and has one son. She has a love for animals, servant to two rescue cats and fish. During her spare time Leann also enjoys reading a good psychological book, which she has been known to just sit and read all day. She crotchets blankets for the cat rescue centre where she adopted her rescue cats from, so that each cat that is adopted goes home with their own blanket.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Melisa joined the practice in June 2023 as a trainee dental nurse. She is the baby of the practice with a bright and bubbly personality. Melisa has a great sense of enthusiasm for her role, progressing very well in a short period of time, and always with a positive outlook. She is very dedicated on completing her qualifications and enjoys all aspects of her role. Outside of work Melisa likes to spend time with her family and friends and visiting new places.
Clinical Support Assistant
Jemma joined us In February 2022. Jemma assists the clinical team working in our decontamination room. She ensures all our instruments are sterilised ready for the next patient. Jemma supports our Lead Nurse with clinical compliance. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family and friends.
Reception Manager
Laura has worked at Walker & Associates for over 20 years. As our Reception Manager, Laura ensures the smooth running of day to day clinics and welcomes patients into the practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
Receptionist
Juliann (aka Lala to friends family and work colleagues) has been a receptionist at Walker and Associates for over 20 years. Juliann's job is varied most days but front of house is usually where you'll see her. In a former life Juliann spent 12 years teaching equine pursuits to both young and old, and this was the very best time of her life.

Nathan re-joined the reception team in November 2021 after relocating back to Faringdon.

Sue joined our practice in March 23. She told us at interview that she's a people person so this position is great for her as Sue meets a variety of personalities every day. In her spare time Sue loves spending time with her family and walking her dog Bella on long country walks.
